History: The son of Elias and Joan Walker, William J. Walker was born and raised in Charleston, NC. His older brother, Thomas was a soldier and helicopter pilot in the Gulf War, in which he died, Thomas’ son Tommy came to live with his grandparents and Will. Wanting to live up to his brother's memory, Will enlisted in the military himself.

During his time in the military, the Rikti invaded Earth. During an engagement with the Rikti, Will’s unit came under heavy attack. His entire unit was wiped out and will was critically injured.

It was during this time that the government had begun studying captured Rikti technology as well as Rikti biology. In a radical procedure, the government doctors grafted Rikti organs associated with cell regeneration to Will’s body and exposed him Rikti Virtol rays (energy used in Rikti healing technology). The results were astounding. Within hours, Will was awake and requesting food and water; Within a day he was walking and doing a light workout in the gym; Within a week he could lift a two-ton truck over his head.

For the remainder of the war, Will served with the US Army’s Supersquad, a team of soldiers with metahuman powers, as SuperPatriot. The government was never able to duplicate their success with Will. When the war ended Will’s file was sealed and he was granted an honorable discharge. Knowing that there was only one place he could use his powers effectively, Will relocated to Paragon City with a new uniform and a new name: Mr. America.

History: Tommy was an average kid in an average southern coastal town, he was only 3 years old when his father Thomas ,a soldier and helicopter pilot in the Gulf War, died, Tommy came to live with his grandparents and his uncle Will. Tommy was seven when his uncle Will enlisted in the military himself.

It was during a summer break that Tommy came to visit his uncle in the big city. Before Tommy’s airplane landed, the airport was attacked by the Sky Raiders. Tommy’s plane crash landed, killing the crew and severely injuring the passengers. Tommy was rushed to the local hospital, where it was discovered that Tommy had damage to both kidneys. A quick test revealed that his uncle Will was a perfect match, save for some strange elements in Will’s bloodstream. Will requested that US Army be contacted and within 2 hours Tommy and Will were under the knife courtesy of military doctors. Laser scalpels were enlisted to open Will’s super-dense skin and the organ was successfully removed. Will’s kidney began to re-grow before his skin was closed.

Unexpectedly by everyone but the Army, Tommy was up and around within 24-hours. The boy was held for study by the military and within a week Tommy exhibited strange abilities. The 17 year old showed an uncanny affinity for technology, grasping the intricacies of Rikti technology with only a few minutes examination. Tommy’s IQ tested in the 300’s and within a month he showed a marked increase in strength and speed and even the potential for telekinetic flight. It was shortly thereafter that Tommy’s file was sealed, his uncle Will was granted custody of the teen and a new hero hit the streets of Paragon City, using a variety of weapons of his own construction. The new hero dressed similarly to Mr. America and called himself Junior Justice.
